Are you searching for your family history roots in Bristol from afar, and then want a photgraph of the house or area in which your relative lived, to go with documents from the period?
We are not all fortunate to have photographs of our forebears conveniently standing outside the houses they lived in, or the churches and chapels they were baptised, married or buried in. Modern colour contemporary photographs look garish when matched to records from the Victorian and Edwardian periods.
My photo taking service gives you just that photograph you need in the right tone. In my new gallery ‘Historic Shades’ you get a taste of this service. The streets of modern Bristol are full of traffic and parked cars and it can be time consuming getting photographs without our modern form of transport dominating the picture.
I will continue to add to the gallery in the future. I have started close to home in the areas of Southville and Ashton and will take my camera with me around various parts of the city in the weeks and months to come.
You can now visit this photo gallery at www.rootsleuth.com/Gallery where you will find albums dedicated to different areas of Bristol, each with several photos.
If you would like me to take photographs of a particular area in and around Bristol then please contact me regarding this service and I will provide a quotation for your specific requirements.
